A nice listing in the New Yorks Times for the show with JD3 the other week at Barbes referencing the album I produced and recorded....'Jason Domnarski is a promising young keyboardist with a deep attunement to pop production and orchestration, as he demonstrates on his self-released new album, “Notes From Underground.” His trio includes the bassist Aaron Nevezie and the drummer Dave Mason.'.

Also this Monday night at Joe's Pub we will be showcasing new material from Natalie Walker's upcoming release. Should be a good one! I will be hitting the North-East with Natalie in September and the West Coast in October including a live to air on KCRW.

07.10.08 | Live shows, recording etc
So it's been a very busy month since last time I wrote. The JD3 just got a very nice write up in the New Yorks Times before our recent show at Barbes. The studio has been turning out some great records. Watch out for Jean Rohe's new CD which I just finished mixing. It's a great blend of South American and World music, with a jazzy almost Joni Mitchell sensibility. Also we should be finished the City & Horses tomorrow, had a great time with the guys from Chicken Gravy on super grooving new record, and I'm currently working with Wakey Wakey on 4 new songs.

There's a whole bunch of new shows booked with Natalie Walker, JD3, Chris Lind and a one off with Tiffany Randall of Valeze...so check the itinerary.

06.10.08 | Natalie Walker at The Living Room NYC
Natalie Walker will be playing a residency at The Living Room through the end of June...dates are June 20, 26 and July 3rd. Expect some material from her new album and the old favorites from 'Urban Angel'.

06.07.08 | New Records
Over the last for weeks it was great to get copies of new records I've worked and have been waiting to check out. Tim Collins 'Fade' (Ropeadope), Elephant Bear 'Hide and Go Seek', and the Rosewood Thieves latest. Also just finished a great session of basics with Gilad Dobrecky's middle eastern jazz project. Currently mixing Chicken Gravy, a rare groove/funk group featuring some awesome horn writing and some very soulful B3 playing. Completed some spots for EPSN produced by Imported Goodz...it's been a busy month and it only looks to get crazier for the summer:)

05.17.08 | Upcoming shows
Good to see everyone the other night at the JDT show at Rockwood. Coming up at the end of the month is a late night show at the Blue Note - May 30th @ midnight. Come down!! Also we've been super busy at The Bunker and have some exciting new additions to the mic collection coming in over the next few weeks.

04.30.08 | Latest recordings
Just finished a great weekend in the studio working on Ben Goldberg's new record. The band featured Charlie Hunter, Ron Miles and Scott Amendola and a bunch of very cool tunes by Ben. The record will be mixed out on the West Coast and I'm looking forward to hearing the finished product.
